4 soldiers martyred in Jammu and Kashmir terror attack: 5 terrorists neutralized
Five terrorists were killed and about 30 kg of IEDs was recovered in the last 24 hours in two separate operations in Jammu and Kashmir, as per the Armed Forces, who also said that four army personnel also lost their lives in the operations.
Earlier today, in a terrorist attack 25 kms from Rajouri in Jammu & Kashmir, two terrorists carried out a suicide attack on an Indian Army company operating base. Both terrorists were killed while three Indian Army personnel have been killed in action. One officer is injured.
In a statement, an Army official said, "Four army personnel killed in action, five terrorists neutralised in last 24 hours."
Meanwhile, on Wednesday, three LeT terrorists were neutralised by security forces in Budgam. One of the killed terrorists was involved in the killing of civilians Rahul Bhat and Amreen Bhat.
The attack comes ahead of Independence Day celebrations and the police and security forces are already high on alert owing to it.
